To some people 25 years is a long time.
For us at Vanwell it has been a great 25 years in Canadian publishing.

Vanwell Publishing started off in 1983 as a distributor and eventually publishing became a part of the process. We have had great success with many titles in our extensive naval histories and have built up a solid reputation for our military history publications.

   As a small publisher and distributor we are pleased to thank you for your support over the years and sincerely hope this will continue. It is especially gratifying for a small family-owned business is to know that there is a successor. Simon Kooter for the last fifteen years has been integral part of the business and plans to carry on Vanwell with the principles of the business retiring.

   The world of publishing has given us a roller-coaster ride this past year and we have been fortunate to be surrounded by good people and clients and that’s what publishing is all about: a people business.
