Looking Back Press is an imprint of Vanwell Publishing. Its focus is local histories and interests. Through the use of historical photographs and along with detailed captions, these books depict a town, a museum’s collection, a ship or similar topics in an accurate way and suitable for historians and public alike. This is a unique way to preserve these collections, but also a chance to show the photographs, that otherwise may remain hidden in the archives.
Looking Back Press is anxious to acquire new authors with suitable topics. We will provide help and information at no charge. All aspects of design and layout including editing and photo scanning are done in-house.
To date we have published some 20 titles under this imprint with many more planned.
