Vanwell Distribution Services would like to offer our regrets that we were not able to have our traditional Spring/Summer Open House in June because of the mail strike. So, Vanwell would like to offer a special July & August Summer Military Book Sale, starting on July 5th and ending on August 31st. That’s right! Almost 2 months of book savings!
We are open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm for those who wish to make the trek down to beautiful St. Catharines. We are located on 622 Welland Avenue with easy access from the QEW.
If you happen to live out of the city, province, or country and cannot attend in person – no problem! We can ship to your location. All we asked when you call or email us with your book order, please quote “Summer Sale 2011″. To find out what titles are available, please look at our website under “Vanwell Represented Publishers” and then go to that company’s official website (a little cut’n'paste) – almost any title listed on their respective publishers websites, Vanwell can provide to you in Canada, though there could be a slight delay if do not have that particular book in stock.

Vanwell Military Book Sale!
Vanwell Distribution Services is pleased to announce our 1st Customer Appreciation Day on June 25th, 2011.
We will be offering discount off all products from both our army surplus store and our vast military book selection. In addition, we will be having a Charity BBQ for WoundedWarriors.ca, plus the Niagara Military Vehicle Association will be here with 4-5 vintage vehicles. We also expect to have some product demos from Original SWAT Boots and from ARES Airsoft.

We were not sure if this year would pass without a military book sale, but cooler heads prevailed and YES, we are starting this weekend! But don’t despair if you can’t make it this weekend, Vanwell has decided to run the sale on 3 separate weekends as our new location is somewhat smaller than before.

Niagara’s Military Past & Present
Vanwell Publishing will be attending the 3rd Annual Symposium of Niagara’s Military Past & Present at the Lake Street Armouries (81 Lake St., St. Catharines, ON). For those of you interested learning more about the War of 1812, the First World War and Afghanistan, then you should attend these lectures from respected professors.
